February 17th marks National Random Acts of Kindness Day, and we are delighted to celebrate here at Little Green Button.
“It’s just a day to celebrate kindness and the whole pay it forward mentality.” Tracy Van Kalsbeek.
We’ve decided that this year, our Little Green Button acts of kindness will come in the form of sending surprises out to some of our wonderful customers. We’ve had a fantastic morning at Little Green Button HQ, wrapping up and sending out handwritten notes, cards, and chocolates. We’ve even thrown in a few free Big Green Buttons- the physical panic alarm button- for good measure. Perhaps most importantly, we have also sent some customers an offer to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
Why? Because kindness goes a long way, and we love the idea of brightening someone’s day.
Random Acts of Kindness you can do today:
-Leave a kind note on the fridge for your loved ones.
-Pay for the person behind you at the drive-thru.
-Wash someone else’s car.
-Pledge an hour of your time to a local charity.
-(For all our Little Green Button customers out there…) Run a practice panic alert with your team, so everyone feels safe and knows what to do in the event of an emergency.
“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” -Scott Adams.
