Release notes

LGB Windows 3.20.9519

5 February 2026

A new version has been published.

In some scenarios where the infrastructure was required to transfer an Alert between networks, it was possible for this message to be too long to be able to be picked up by the infrastructure, and as such not distributed to Little Green Buttons on other networks. This was especially prevalent in configurations where a large number of Groups were targeted by an Escalation. To alleviate occurrences of this, information in the message will be shortened to allow for more space for crucial information, and decrease the likelihood of Alerts not being picked up.

While this is an optional update, it is advised to update to this version if your organisation relies heavily on Alerts being distributed between networks via the infrastructure.

Fixes in this release:

  • GPS coordinates are shortened to a maximum of 4 decimals, as this provides enough accuracy
  • When manually inputting GPS Location and/or Phone Number, a limit is imposed on the length of these
  • Oversized messages are automatically abridged, shortening non-crucial information incrementally until it is beneath the threshold for acceptance.

An impending fix to the infrastructure will ensure the same is done for Alerts that are raised and responded to by the mobile app.
