A new version of Little Green Button Windows has been released to support the latest new functionality: Escalation per Alert Type and Smart Location Prompting as well as some important fixes. We highly advise to update to the latest 3.19 version as soon as possible.

The MyLGB Portal now allows for configuration to control what happens to an Alert, based on which Type of Alert is raised.

This provides a MyLGB Admin with even more options to ensure Alerts are received by the colleagues best placed to respond, and allow more streamlined alignment with existing procedures.

Furthermore, functionality has been put in place to allow for additional reminders to be triggered to the end user, when certain events are detected that could be interpreted as them having moved their Device (laptop) to a different Location.

These additional triggers can be configured via MyLGB’s Advanced section in the Configuration menu, and will show a Windows notification to remind them of their currently set Location.

Additionally, some improvements have been made in the way Little Green Button reacts to changes in network environment where multiple networks are involved, and improvements in reliable connections to the LGB infrastructure.

Versions prior to 3.19 will be unable to understand any bespoke published configuration around this functionality, and Alerts raised by these older versions, will always be escalated to All Groups, regardless of any configuration in place. Please ensure all software is updated before adopting this new method of configuring Escalations.

The latest version is available on the downloads page, and existing installations of Little Green Button can be updated*.
