Release notes

LGB Mobile 2.3.2

18 November 2022

While not a major feature release, this is an important new version.

It was found that push notifications are being received by Devices that are not specifically targeted by a Group’s Escalation. This resulted in users being notified an Alert is happening, but when opening the Little Green Button app, they were not receiving this Alert.

Corrections have been made to prevent this from happening, along with a few housekeeping tasks.

Bugfixes
[LGB-548] Notifications persist after switching site on Mobile
When switching to a different Little Green Button system on mobile, users would still receive push notifications from the previous system(s). This has been corrected.
[LGB-708] Push notifications from LGB-mobile ignore escalation levels
LGB mobile was showing push notifications for Alerts that weren't targeted at the Group the Device is currently residing in. This has been corrected.
[LGB-807] Mobile app reports version "2.0.0.flutter" to the bridge rather than its actual version number
This causes the [[Device Reports]] to report inaccurate information, and has been corrected.
[LGB-979] Mobile app uses a random nick each time it connects to the bridge
With changes in mobile OS approaches to network connectivity, LGB mobile was incorrectly reporting in as an entirely new Device each time. This mechanic has been improved to prevent this and allow more accurate [[Device Reports]].
[LGB-1001] Attending emergency from mobile doesn't contain target group ids from emergency
Attending emergency message should contain the target groups seen in the emergency message, like lgb-win. This has been fixed.
[LGB-1011] lgb-mobile grey button after cold startup
Particularly on iOS, the app was not resuming properly from being hard stopped. This has been corrected.
[LGB-1012] Play store submission failed: unsupported version of Play Billing
Billing Library updated to newer version to correct this.
Maintenance
[LGB-988] LGB-mobile devices subscribe to the appropriate topics, ready to receive notifications
Ensure that the correct FCM topic is subscribed to, based on action taken inside the app (joining/changing group, and (un)installing the app).
[LGB-996] In lgb-mobile, EDGE notifications are segregated into a separate firebase project
Change to allow the Edge environment to be able to use its own Firebase project.
